About

Erin Dale Darling is a fiction author, singer-songwriter, and award-winning journalist; in other words, a prolific storyteller with a passion for the written word in all its forms.

Erin holds a B.A. in Communication Arts/Writing from Gordon College, where every winter, her English professors would take turns reading aloud from The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings in the aptly named Frost Castle. Needless to say, Erin has always found fantasy writing inspiration in the mortal world around us. After college, Erin carved out a career as a community journalist and editor. Her work has appeared across media platforms, including print, broadcast, and online publications. She is the recipient of five New England Newspaper and Press Association awards and a member of American Christian Fiction Writers.

When she isn't writing or editing fiction, Erin is writing and recording music with her husband, Mark Darling, for their folk duo The Gullywumpers. They live in Massachusetts with their four (extremely spoiled) rescue fur babies.
